·         The museum offers school group tours with activities, developed for teachers, by teachers, based on Tennessee Common Core Standards and differentiated by grade band.



·         Pre- and post-visit classroom activities are available for download on the museum website along with an Educator’s Guide to the museum.



·         Professional development opportunities for teachers, focusing on developing hands-on science learning activities for the classroom, are offered several times per year (certificate of completion is available for in-service credit).



·         Volunteer opportunities are available for students year-round.



·         The museum offers an educational, STEM oriented Summer Paleo Camp for Pre-K through High School.
